About A. Brooke Keffner

A. Brooke Keffner, LMHC, ATR-BC, CAP, ICADC

Brooke earned her master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She went on to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Board-Certified Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC), a Certified Addictions Professional (CAP), and an Internationally Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (ICADC).

Brooke started her clinical career as an art therapist on an inpatient adolescent psychiatric unit. She went on to work as a primary therapist, art therapist, and addictions counselor at various clinical settings from inpatient/residential to outpatient care in PA, NJ, and FL before she joined the Helping Moon team.

Brooke specializes in creative and mind-body therapeutic approaches to healing. She views her role as that of an empathetic guide, walking alongside her clients on their personal paths to recovery. She views the therapeutic relationship as a sacred space to effect beneficial change. Brooke was born and raised in NJ, eventually making her way to FL, and settling locally. She is passionate about art and can be found most weekends on the beach or exploring local coffee shops and record stores.
