About Christine Corcoran, LMHC

Christine Corcoran, Student Intern

Christine has completed her studies at Walden University and is honored to now be stepping into her final internship with Helping Moon Counseling. Having grown and lived in every corner of the world, Christine brings a vast background of diverse, multicultural awareness critical to successful counseling and mental health treatment. Her creative and artistic background makes it easy for her to connect and work with clients from different backgrounds and mental health challenges.

Christine has experience working with clients challenged with various issues, among them addiction, trauma, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.

She is trained in: Crisis, Trauma, and Disaster Response – ABC’s Of Trauma – Zero Suicide – Psychological First Aid – EFT.

She enjoys using CBT and Solution-Based Therapy that focuses on helping clients help themselves, but when it comes to therapy, she does not believe there is a “one-size-fits-all.” She embraces a broad spectrum of approaches depending on what will be most beneficial.

Christine hopes to someday make a career in the non-profit field and specialize in offering treatment to underserved communities.

Christine brings in a diverse cultural range of local and international experience she has acquired over the years in the different professionals, including working as a professional artist, and entrepreneur. She is also an active volunteer with various charitable organizations and enjoys working with animals.
