In her time working with individuals struggling with issues of mental health and addiction she come found that most clients have a history of trauma and suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder.  She notes that her training specific to trauma is advantageous when working with her clients.  Fabiana utilizes evidenced-based practices such as cognitive behavior therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to name a few to help move clients along in the therapeutic process.  Fabiana understands the value of professional development to expand her skills and knowledgebase.  As such she is a proud member of organizations such as the American Counseling Association and the Florida Counseling Association where she can access continuing education opportunities, learn about advocacy services and network with like-minded professionals.
