About Kenya Nicole Horne, LMHC

Kenya Nicole Horne

Kenya Nicole Horne is a graduate of American InterContinental University, where she received her Bachelor’s in Healthcare Management. Kenya later decided to pursue her master’s degree from Walden University as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Kenya looks forward to interning as a student at Helping Moon Counseling. Kenya’s journey and passion for mental health started as a personal one. As Kenya advocated for the needs of a family member, it deepened her interest as to how she could help and advocate for others. This led Kenya to an employment opportunity where she began working at Carolina Behavioral Care, where she worked in Medical Records Management. She worked there for twelve years until she relocated to the state of Florida. Kenya wants to be able to empower and encourage her clients. Kenya hopes to one day own her practice where she will specialize in Individual and Family Counseling. In Kenya’s free time, she enjoys pottery making, painting, and writing. As writing has become a joy and passion for Kenya, she looks forward to releasing a novel she has been diligently working on. Her motto is, “I am the light I choose to be, and the possibilities are endless for me.”
