Michelle Page has completed master-level courses at Walden University and is glad to have joined Helping Moon Counseling for her student internship. She is a certified mind-body medicine practitioner and has facilitated stress and anxiety management groups for adults and teens for over four years. She has thoroughly enjoyed facilitating these groups. Other joys are her pets, a black and white Maltese Terrier mix and a brownish-orange Tabby cat.
Michelle has a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of South Florida and is a Court-Appointed Guardian ad Litem for the 17th judicial circuit. When dealing with challenging circumstances, resulting thoughts and feelings can feel impossible to overcome. Whether struggling with a life transition, a specific situation, or a life-long challenge, her goal is to meet her client’s individual counseling needs.
Life can feel difficult when stressed, anxious, sad, angry, or ‘stuck’ and unsure of how to deal with life circumstances. Michelle’s client-centered approach allows clients to express thoughts and feelings in a supportive setting, gain insights along the way, and learn simple, evidence-based techniques that can be used to live life with more ease.
One of Michelle’s favorite quotes is, “The more you are focused on time- past and future- the more you miss the now, the most precious thing there is.”– Eckhart Tolle
She works with adults 18+, all genders, and the LGBTQ+ community.
