Sophia Rocha, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Hello, bem vindos, and welcome! My name is Sophia Rocha, and I am a recent graduate from Barry University with a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and now a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern! As a bilingual counselor fluent in English and Portuguese, I strive to create a welcoming, culturally responsive space where clients feel understood and supported.

My clinical experience includes working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and co-occurring mental health concerns. I also have experience supporting adolescents and immigrants

I am trained in Ego State Therapy (parts work) and integrate evidence-based approaches including DBT, mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
