Treasure Saladucha
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. It takes courage to reach out, share your story, and trust someone with the parts of yourself that may feel the most vulnerable. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate it alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely welcomed, understood, and empowered to be your authentic self from the very first session.
Hello! I’m Treasure Saladucha, MS, RMHCI. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Stetson University, followed by both a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida, working toward full licensure while providing counseling under qualified supervision.
For the past six years, I have worked in the substance use and behavioral health field in a variety of clinical roles, giving me the opportunity to support individuals through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Throughout my career, I have worked diligently alongside clients as they processed trauma, overcame addiction, rebuilt relationships, and rediscovered hope. These experiences have reinforced my belief that healing is possible and that every individual possesses strengths that can be nurtured and developed, even during life’s most challenging seasons.
My counseling approach is primarily rooted in Adlerian Therapy, which emphasizes understanding each person’s unique life experiences, strengths, sense of belonging, and purpose. I believe that our past experiences help shape us, but they do not have to define our future. Together, we will work to better understand patterns, build resilience, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful goals that align with the life you want to live. I approach therapy collaboratively, believing that you are the expert on your own life while I provide guidance, support, and evidence-based interventions along the way.
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, and co-occurring mental health disorders. I also have a special interest in forensic mental health, including working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, first responders, law enforcement professionals and victims of crime. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I have a strong commitment to creating a safe environment. My goal is to provide an inclusive, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where every client feels respected, valued, and safe to explore their experiences.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, cooking, baking, reading, and relaxing with our two cats. I believe that authentic human connection has the power to foster healing, and it is truly a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful change. No matter where you are in your journey, I look forward to meeting you exactly where you are and helping you move toward the life you envision for yourself.
