My name is Alexandra Martin and I am a Registered Intern working towards becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I graduated with my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and I previously received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.
I completed my final year of my graduate studies here with Helping Moon and I was able to work with a variety of clients who struggled with depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and past traumas. I utilize an integrative approach as I believe there are benefits to a multitude of counseling theories that can be tailored to an individual's specific needs.
