Treasure Saladucha
Hi! I’m Treasure Saladucha and I am excited to start my counseling internship journey with Helping Moon.
I currently work in the substance abuse field on a clinical team at a treatment center. I am in my last year of graduate school for my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from Walden University in November 2024 and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Stetson University in 2020.
After getting my undergraduate degree in psychology I started working in the substance abuse field and fell in love with counseling. I have a particular interest in the forensic population of psychology including those who have struggled with substance abuse, are a part of law enforcement, first responders, and victims of crime.
My goal has always been to help people along their journey of healing. Aside from forensic populations, I also have knowledge and experience with adolescents and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have a deep interest in helping people through their trauma as well. As a counselor intern, I want to strive to create an inclusive, supportive, and non-judgmental space for individuals to share their feelings. I understand how important it is to feel seen, heard, and validated during counseling.
I am overjoyed and very grateful to be joining the Helping Moon team as a Student Intern. Helping others has always filled my cup and I cannot wait to see what the counseling journey will look like for me. I know what it is like to need to be seen and heard during life’s hard times – I strive to be the person for others that I once needed as well.
Outside of my academics and work life I enjoy cooking, reading, baking, and movie nights with my husband and 9-year-old black cat. My favorite quote is “When you believe in a thing – believe in it all the way, implicitly, and unquestionably” by Walt Disney. Together we can help you believe in yourself – you are not alone on this journey.
